Choc Mint Protein Balls

Tasty, chewy protein balls with a protein boost, perfect for satisfying your chocolate cravings with no guilt.

Ingredients

  • 2 Cups Organic Oats
  • 1 scoop Orbit Nutrition Chocolate Protein Powder
  • 2 Tablespoons Dark Cocoa Powder
  • 3/4 Cup Cashew Butter (or nut butter of choice)
  • 1 Teaspoon Mint Extract
  • 1/2 Cup Honey or organic stevia for no sugar option 
  • 1/2 Cup Dark Chocolate Chips – ideally 80-90% dark
  •  Desiccated Coconut to roll the protein balls

Instructions

  • Blend up oats to make oat flour
  • Place all of the ingredients into a large mixing bowl or food mixer. Mix until well combined. *If mixing by hand it is easier to mix the cashew butter and honey together first.
  • Wet your hands with water and grab about a small amount of dough, Roll to form a ball, roll them to finish in the desiccated coconut and place on a tray. If hands become sticky, just wet them with water again.
  • Place the protein balls in the fridge to set for a couple hours or freeze to have on hand for up to 3 months.
  • When you are ready to eat let the protein balls sit out at room temperature.
