Gingerbread Pancakes

Treat yourself to a tasty brekkie that you will be looking forward to eat and will leave you feeling satisfied.

Serves 2

Ingredients:

1.5 cups rolled oats

2 scoops Orbit Nutrition Vanilla Protein

1 tsp ginger

1/2 tsp mixed spice

1/2 tsp baking powder

1 egg

1 medium banana

3/4 cup unsweetened almond milk

Extra banana, maple syrup and toasted pecans, to serve 

Method: 

  1. Add the dry ingredients to a blender and combine until the oats form a flour like consistency. 
  2. Add in the banana, egg and almond milk and blend until combined.
  3. Heat a little unsalted butter(preferably grass fed) on a large saucepan on medium heat, and add mixture to pan, flipping panckes when bubbles start to form round the sides. 
  4. Serve warm and enjoy!
