Beat Those Cravings With This Healthy Protein ‘No Guilt’ Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 scoop (30g) Orbit Nutrition – Vanilla Whey Protein
- 3 cups desiccated coconut
- 60ml unsweetened Coconut milk
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 tablespoon organic stevia or coconut sugar
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup coconut oil – melted
- 1 tablespoon almond butter
- 100g 75-80% plain dark chocolate
Instructions.
- Step 1: Combine coconut oil, vanilla, almond butter, honey and coconut milk in a bowl. Heat for 45 seconds in microwave to help combine.
- Step 2: Add liquid to coconut, protein and stevia. Stir well.
- Step 3: Press mix into a small to medium brownie tin with baking paper and place in the fridge to set for approx. two hours.
- Remove from the fridge and cut out cookies using a cookie cutter or glass.
- Step 4: Melt dark chocolate.
- Step 5: Dip coconut cookies into chocolate and place on a cooling rack to drain.
- Step 6: Best stored in the fridge once set for up to one week.
