Spicy Chilli Con Carne
500gm ground grass fed beef
1/2 cup red onion, chopped
1 green pepper, chopped
1 red bell pepper, chopped
2 tablespoons chilli powder (no additives) or 2-3 fresh chilli
1 tablespoon cumin
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
2 teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon pepper
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder or 2 cloves fresh garlic
3 medium size tomatoes, diced
In a large pan/skillet with very light drizzle macadamia oil, brown the ground beef, onion and garlic; drain the grease.
Add the peppers and all of the spices.
Stir in the tomatoes; bring to a simmer and cook 10 minutes.
Server over chopped lettuce or some long grain brown rice
